Helpful Hints:

• Fill an empty spray bottle with tap water for easy removal of SoluShim Water Soluble Alignment Sticks.
• Keep a damp sponge and bowl of water near work area if securing SoluShim with Aquasol Water Soluble Tape.

For Plate Applications:

1. Insert SoluShim sticks between plates to be welded.
2. Secure with Aquasol Water Soluble Tape, if needed.
3. Weld!
4. To remove, spray water directly on SoluShim. Pull out as stick starts to dissolve immediately thereafter.
5. Water soluble Tape can be removed with introduction of water and wiped away with a damp cloth or sponge.

For Pipe Applications:

1. Bend SoluShim sticks to form a 90° angle.
2. Arrange SoluShim sticks in equal spacing around the outside of the pipe.
3. Secure with Aquasol Water Soluble Tape, if needed.
4. Weld!
5. To remove, spray water directly on SoluShim. Pull out as stick starts to dissolve immediately thereafter.
6. Water soluble Tape can be removed with introduction of water and wiped away with a damp cloth or sponge.

For Flange Applications:

1. Insert pipe inside slip-on flange.
2. Position SoluShim sticks between the pipe and flange, creating equal and balanced spacing.
3. Secure with Aquasol Water Soluble Tape, if necessary.
4. Tack-weld the joint as normal, to secure even space.

5. To remove, spray water directly on SoluShim. Pull out as stick starts to dissolve immediately thereafter.
6. Water soluble Tape can be removed with introduction of water and wiped away with a damp cloth or sponge.
