The Italian Institute of Welding is a private organization ran by members whose main goals are to educate and train those in the field of welding. The institute contributes to the field through providing certifications and approvals, engineering, testing, technical assistance and much more. The Italian Institute of Welding is one of the founding members of the International Institute of Welding (IIW) and of the European Welding Federation (EWF).
